Pete Morgan is a retired science teacher who blew up a pumpkin in a science lesson and has over 3000 views on YouTube to prove it. (Search “Morgy's pumpkin explosion)

Whilst teaching at Saltash School he ran a live music club for 30 years which, with typical humility, he described as the school’s “biggest, richest and most successful club.”

Pete has lived in Liskeard for 36 years with his wife Rosie who is another ex teacher as well as an artist and a children’s author. They have two grown-up children who have moved away but who both love Cornwall and who have, between them, produced four Cornwall - loving grandchildren.

Pete and Rosie are both members of St Martin’s Church in Liskeard. It was through the former vicar, Steve Morgan (no relation!) that Pete first joined Liskeard Radio as Steve’s co-presenter.

Since Steve has now moved on to another role in the church, Pete will this year be presenting his Christmas shows with a different guest each week.
