Mike lives in Looe with his wife Julie, a former professional ballerina.

Born in Birmingham, Mike spent 26 years as a Police Officer before leaving to build his own business running several modern jive dance clubs as owner, teacher and often DJ. Mike also organised and hosted major dance events and competitions throughout the Midlands area over the last 25 years.

In 2010 he bought his own ballroom and function suite hosting weddings, shows, corporate events and parties for up to 400 guests at a time.

Mike has DJd for more than 40 years and though he is now 'retired' he frequently performs at local venues and events in and around Looe, with a particular penchant for soul, Motown and funk.
